LOUISIANA AND OUT

OF STATE ADOPTIONS

Mercy
Pretty

Pretty was rescued from a municipal kill shelter with her seven babies. She was severely malnourished, afraid of everyone and unable to use her back left leg. She had lost all desire to live.

All of her babies have now been adopted and are in loving homes in the New York area. She has been treated for all of her ailments and is now in her forever home. She is a very happy and healthy girl.

Reba

Reba was rescued from a municipal kill shelter with her babies. Unfortunately, they were born in the shelter and several died before we knew about them. Reba was infested with parasites and heart worms. Some cruel subhuman had removed her vocal chords so she is unable to bark. She was a great little mama and took wonderful care of her crew. Everyone was nursed to health and Reba was treated and nursed back to health. This lucky little family were all adopted to loving homes in the Virginia area.

Mercy was rescued from a municipal kill shelter. She was used as a bait dog and was pregnant. She had to be immediately rushed to the vet to have her wounds cleaned and stapled. She turned out to be the sweetest little lady. She took care of her eight babies and then took on six orphaned pittie babies. She did an excellent job and all were adopted in the Virginia area.

Paul, Jeb, Hillary and Christie

These 4 little pittie babies were rescued from a municipal kill shelter. They were incredibly malnourished and so infested with parasites that it is amazing that they survived. We pampered them back to health. Three of them were taken into the Brothers and Sisters in Arms program to be trained as service dogs for disabled veterans and the other was adopted into a loving home with his very own little boy. A happy ending to a very difficult start in life. Paul, Jeb, Hillary and Christie.
