LOUISIANA AND OUT
OF STATE ADOPTIONS
Callie - June 28, 2017

Callie was rescued from a hoarding situation in Bastrop, Louisiana. She was VERY pregnant and heartworm positive when she arrived. She gave birth to nine babies, of which 8 survived. All eight babies have been adopted and are in loving homes. Callie has been spayed and completed treatment for heartworms. She is a sweet little girl at about 45 pounds. She plays very well with other dogs but does has a strong prey instinct with cats. She is somewhat shy with men due to past abuse but very much wants to attach to her own humans and learn to completely trust in her new home. Guess at breed is a basset hound/cur mix.

Danielle is ready for her furever home. It is clear from her shelter photos that she has had a rough and cruel beginning
in life. That is no longer the case! She has completed heartworm treatment and is healthy and ready to love her very own humans! She would be best in a home where she has all
of the attention. She is great with people of all sizes but does not care for cats. She is incredibly affectionate and loves to
give hugs and snuggle.
